Met the owner, he was lovely and very helpful. The house was great and suited us all. The house was clean throughout. Beds were comfy. Toilets and showers were great. Tesco and Aldi 2 mins drive from house. Weathervane restaurant 2 mins drive and was lovely too. Chinese nearby, it was the best one weâve had in a long time, menu is in one of drawers. We visited lots of places nearby as we had 3 young boys, Monkey Forest, Alton Towers, Waterworld, Tenpin bowling, shopping and Ninja Warrior UK which was a massive hit. Look for discount codes for these places, makes it worthwhile and cost effective. A couple of downsides of the house but no way did it put us off, in the 2 twin bedrooms I would recommend curtains, was difficult for 2 of my children to sleep who are ASD, extra shelf in the oven would be perfect as with a baking tray but we managed, a clothes airer or washing line just in case you were doing washing which we did but those are just wee things for our family. Games, and books aplenty, and hairdryer in master bedroom. The study was perfect as was the conservatory. Plenty of space to accommodate everyone. A lovely touch was the wee items of orange juice, milk, Pringles, wee packs of cereal and cookies. We would definitely stay here again and hope to do so next year.
