Parking permit was an added bonus, no problem in parking at all, House is in a quiet area. Garden was ok, its not enclosed totally as there is a low wall, but not a problem, you should be watching your dog outdoors anyway. Heating was good, plenty of hot water. Only negative from us, was the grill pan hadn't been washed and a three seater sofa would of been more comfortable for an evening in. These issues would not put us off staying again, only trivial.

The bed in the main room was comfortable, but in the second room was quite hard for our tastes. There was a good shower. We did have a lovely stay but there were several downsides that could very easily be remedied to make it even better. To my mind it could be so much nicer if it were furnished and finished to a higher standard. The lounge chairs are very uncomfortable and the dining table and chairs are not matching and feel very rickety. It needs nets and curtains everywhere to make it feel more private and cosy. There was only a small hanging rack in each bedroom, with no dressing table and nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries and make-up. Only the mirror in the single bedroom was next to a socket for the hairdryer. There was no mention in the description that there is a cellar, or that there are changes of level on both the ground and first floors, which for me made it harder to get around. The fridge-freezer is very oddly positioned under the stairs at the top of the flight down to the cellar, surrounding by cleaning equipment, and with the doors opening the 'wrong' way so it was hard to access. The property says it is dog-friendly but I think they were only expecting a small dog as the bed and bowls left were tiny and our Labrador could easily have escaped from the garden if we had let her off the lead. In addition, the property was not as clean as I would like and we had to do a lot ourselves. The kitchen tap dripped constantly. I also would have liked more than one parking permit as we had to juggle cars in and out of other parking places that were expensive and/or restrictive on hours.

Easy parking at the front in a very quiet area. 10 minute walk to the town centre. Kitchen fitted to a very high standard, relaxing lounge area and very comfortable beds! Walk in shower was also a big plus. The only bugbears we had that we could have done with a few more instructions on how things work, took me a while how to change the temperature of the radiators, also salt & pepper shakers were both empty and didnt know we had to bring our own? We would definitely stay here again
