We had a lovely relaxed weekend in the River Meets Lodge, the property was clean and well appointed with everything you can need. David the host met us to show us everything when we arrived, including details of the river taxi into Stratford and the big clubhouse just across the river with playground and bar / restaurant. The property is right on the riverfront and it was very peaceful sitting on the terrace watching the river traffic and dog walkers go past. The only concern for me as mum of a toddler is the windows are unrestricted and at waist height, with a long drop down to ground level, which needed to be carefully managed as they were open a lot of the time in the heatwave. Overall a very successful and enjoyable stay, we would come again.

Second time we have stayed. The owner is lovely and welcoming. Lodge is perfect place to stay to explore Stratfordcand the cotswolds. Everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday. Balcony looking straight over the river, just perfect. No need to use your car if you want to pop to Statford as there is a little water taxis )£3 each way) less than 5 m8ns walk away. The driver told us loads about Stratford and some great places to visit. We had a fab time and would highly recommend 10/10
