The buildings were renovated in 2014 and the site is accessible through electric gates at the entrance. The gardens are perfectly landscaped to cover almost an acre of land and also boasts an original well. The clever use of floor to ceiling bespoke windows lets the light flood into the property and offers stunning views across the countryside. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and bi-fold doors onto the decked area.
Sandfields Barn epitomises style and charm against the historic backdrop of Luddington village, local folklore suggests that the marriage of William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway took place here. The village has many events throughout the year to include Carols on the Green on Christmas Eve with a brass band and mulled wine. There is an annual village fête in the summer and regular social events including All Saints Arms pub nights, quiz nights, the Arts Club, annual Flower Show and the Luddflicks (cinema evenings).

We had a great holiday and enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Sandfields Barn. The welcome pack was great full of lovely goodies and the barn has all the mod cons that you will need. Sophie who looks after the barn is extremely helpful and easy to contact if you need anything. There is beautiful walk from the barn into Stratford upon Avon. It is on a permissive footpath that a local told us about - just take the path behind the barn and just beyond the gate follow the meadow which takes you to Luddington Lock, then it’s a lovely walk up the river to Stratford, which is a great town with fantastic shops, cafes and pubs. Coming back just request the extremely friendly bus drivers to drop you outside the barn. All in all a lovely relaxing holiday and good weather too.

Couldn't recommend this place enough. Brilliant value for money, the place was beautiful and immaculate, with the best welcome basket we've ever received! And the house keeper was so lovely to deal with. Will definitely stay again!

The pictures don't do your gorgeous home justice! We instantly fell in love. Our girls loved the huge garden to play every day, my wife and I loved the house, especially the kitchen going on to the garden. Just what we wanted and needed. A hidden gem in the countryside, Can't wait to come back. PS Sophie is amazing.
