A delightful bolthole with everything at hand. Very comfortable and extremely well equiped. A wonderful location and great hosts. So much to see and do within a short distance, such a shame about the 'varied' wether!

We have just had an excellent stay at the Writing Room. Clean and tidy and a lovely welcome by the hosts. The accommodation is detached from the owners home but they allowed us acces to their fantastic garden right by the river as well as use of their canoe! Barford is a lovely typically English village with a great local pub and community shop. We loved our stay and was very comfortable and would not hesitate to come back. Our thanks to the owners again. Mark and Carole
