Lovely little barn conversion. Very cleverly designed to make the most of the space.Comfortable and pleasant for a weeks stay with two dogs. Nice to have a good sized secure garden too.

If you are expecting something akin to staying at the Dorchester, then you'll be sorely be disappointed! If you are prepared to accept The Bothy for what it is, which is a small, very cosy getaway from the city, then you can't get much better than this! We chose to stay over New Year, and the fresh air meant we were both asleep by 9:00pm on New Year's Eve! This was as a result of plenty of places for exploring and long walks, but also being in the vicinity of plenty of historic towns which are definitely worth visiting. Only two miles from Stonehenge was a fun day out and the reaction of our two noisy, city puppies to the animals surrounding the property was well worth it. The owners were lovely and accommodating, as too were the 'neighbours'. The advert could use a little updating perhaps, and we spent a week searching a tiny property for two for an iron to go with the ironing board in the bathroom! The oven could use an update but do expect to be muddy, especially if you are taking any dogs with you, warm, tired and very relaxed from the lack of the city rat race. Thank you
