Harvington also has fishing lakes, a cricket pitch and an 18 hole golf course, and many walks can be enjoyed from the village, with the long-distant footpaths of Shakespeare's Avon Way, Heart of England Way and Wychavon Way running close by. The nearby village of Bretforton boasts its own community-run village shop and a 600-year old inn, owned by the National Trust, which hosts many music, folk and food and drink festivals throughout the year. The quintessential English village of Broadway has individual shops and boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and hotels including the world-renowned Lygon Arms, which has been popular for centuries and now offers spa facilities, enjoyed at pre-arranged times.
