The kitchen has granite worktops, and outside, there is a lovely balcony area with seating and countryside views. In addition to this, there is a fully enclosed garden with patio and feature borders. Situated in Cotswold countryside, this holiday property lies in an excellent touring location for the Cotswolds and Shakespeare country. It lies 1-mile outside the pretty village of Mickleton, home to the famous ’Pudding Club’. Chipping Campden is 3 miles away, one of the jewels amongst the Cotswold villages, and offers an excellent choice of restaurants and inns which use local produce.
The National Trust owned Hidcote Gardens is well worth a visit and just 2 miles away. The Cotswold Way is within easy reach for walkers, ramblers and cyclists. Broadway is also 6 miles away with pubs and restaurants, and Stratford-Upon-Avon is only 8 miles, where you can visit the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare’s birthplace and take a river boat trip along the River Avon. Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace and Clarkson’s Farm are within easy reach. Visit Cheltenham with its racecourse and literary festival, the cathedral city of Oxford and pretty Cotswold villages including Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton-in-Marsh. An excellent host with a lot of knowledge about the things to do and where to drink or eat. The welcome was very warm. A comfortable living- kitchenroom and sleepingroom.The bathroom a little bit small, but with everything in it. A lovely balcony and patio-area outside with flowers and enough greenery. A very good cottage to explore de cotswolds.

This was our second stay at The Apple Loft, which really speaks for itself. The accommodation is cosy, immaculate and comfortable. The owners are super friendly and happy to share their knowledge of the local area. There is a wealth of things to do without going too far, as well as the Cotswolds, the place is only about a 20 minute drive from Stratford. Highly recommend this property.
