Meadowfields is highly praised for its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a hot tub that is a consistent highlight. The property is dog-friendly, offering spacious fields for play. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches and the responsiveness of the hosts, Peter and Christine. The property's rural location offers beautiful views and is well-situated for local walks and attractions.
The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained. One mention of dog hairs under the sofa slightly impacted the score, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.
The location is praised for its peacefulness and proximity to quiet roads, local walks, and attractions. The rural setting with wide open views is appreciated, although one review desired more adult-focused attractions nearby.
Guests find the beds very comfortable and the property spacious and cosy. The only minor criticism was the size of the hot tub for larger groups and the number of toilets, but this did not significantly detract from the overall comfort.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-stocked kitchen and a hot tub being highlights. Some guests noted the hot tub size and the number of bathrooms as limitations for larger groups, but the maintenance and variety of facilities are commended.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating welcome treats and provisions for dogs. While these gestures are warmly received, it is noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may vary with each stay.

It was the perfect size for our group of 9. There was plenty of space to be together but also plenty of space indoor and outdoors to find a quiet spot. Our particular highlights were the well equipped kitchen, confortable beds and the hot tub !! The views around the cottage and farm are spectacular.

The house was perfect for a weekend away with friends. There was so much space, loads of parking, the kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were all of a good size. There was plenty of dining space and comfortable sofas and chairs. The hot tub was such a bonus and lovely to relax in st the end of the day. The property was in easy reach of amenities and local attractions. Just perfect!
Emma
Christine and Peter are really responsive and super friendly. The information provided before you arrive is really interesting and useful and helped guide us on our days out. The home is spacious and comfortable, the outside area is lovely, the hot tub was a hit with the people and the large field at the back of the property was a huge hit with the dog!! Itâs remote, only the sheep and cows as neighbours but close enough to the village shop and some lovely pubs. Thank you!!
