Settled in the heart of the historic town of Haworth in West Yorkshire is 45 Prince Street. This wonderful end-terrace holiday home benefits from a close proximity to local amenities and a fabulous interior furnished with contemporary appliances and sleek décor that welcomes up to four guests, perfect for families or couples seeking a getaway in Yorkshire. Cross the threshold into your new home-from-home and head straight to the fully-equipped kitchen to help prepare a refuelling meal, where you can tuck-in at the intimate dining table! Be sure to pop open a bottle of fizz to toast your retreat before sinking into the plush sofas in the living room and delighting in a film night with the Smart TV.
When the yawning begins, climb the stairs to catch your rest in either of the spacious king-size bedrooms, both fitted with plenty of storage for your belongings and serviced by a well-appointed shower room. Rest up before another fun-filled day in Yorkshire. 45 Prince Street lies paces away from the Treehouse Bar and Kitchen (in Oak Street) where you can treat your loved ones to brilliant pub fare or indulge in evening drinks, there are also two shops nearby to help ease your self-catered stay. The Main Street is a short walk away, passed the Steam Railway Station and through the lovely Central Park, where you'll find numerous pubs and restaurants.
Be sure to pay a visit to Keighley and Worth Valley Railway which may look familiar as it features in The Railway Children film. Delve into the wealth of history woven throughout the town by touring the Bronte Parsonage Museum before visiting the Bronte Family Tomb and the Bronte Sisters Statue which has immortalised the women and their legacy to English Literature. Venture to Keighley to explore Cliffe Castle, a fantastic mansion with costumes, fossils and other historic artefacts; the town is also a haven for train and transport enthusiasts as it houses the Ingrow Loco and Keighley Bus Museum which displays vintage public transport vehicles.
The house also lies in between the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Peak District which are both bursting at the seams with walks and trails rewarding visitors with panoramic and picturesque views over the English countryside. Make memories at 45 Prince Street.
It was in Haworth that the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland, wrote their classic works of English literature. A well-preserved historic town, Haworth boasts an array of curiosity and antique shops, as well as alleyways and cobbled streets that create a charming period feel, all against the backdrop of the wild, rugged, and barren countryside immortalised in Emily Bronte's novel Wuthering Heights as the setting for the town. One of the best ways to spend a day in the area is to take a ride on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, which was made famous in the film The Railway Children. The Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and York's National Railway Museum are just a few of the many popular tourist attractions in the area. It's only a short drive to Skipton, the market town known as the "Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales," as well as to the upscale Harrogate, energetic Leeds, and historic Manchester.
