We weâre a family of 4 adults 2 children and 2 small dogs and who like walks and their are some great walks not far from the property, nice pubs along the way for lunch too.Evenings we spent at the barn having barbecues in the fabulous eating area outside, then afterwards we would use the hot tub and look over the beautiful countryside it really was a picture. My wife said it was the best view ever and everything you could possibly need was there and our 9 year old grandson said it felt like home and I think we all agree.

The views from the back of the house over the surrounding countryside are absolutely amazing! The building itself is enormous and even with a big party, there was plenty of room for us all without feeling as if we were on top of each other. Highlights for the children were definitely the hot tub and then being hosed down in the enormous bath afterwards! The area to the front of the property is ideal for barbecues and there are plenty of built-in outdoor seats. The house is near to so many local attractions that are well worth a visit. We went to the Embsay and Bolton Abbey steam railway, Skipton market (Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat), Skipton Castle, Salts Mill in Saltaire for the David Hockney exhibition, Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, Cononley play park and found a lovely walk along the canal which we got to by walking along the main road to Bradley. The Bay Horse up the road towards Skipton serves lovely food and Tesco and Aldi are a stone's throw away. We arrived to an excellent welcome pack of goodies which were really appreciated after a very long journey. Although the water to the property is served by a well and therefore cannot be drunk, we were given an ample supply of bottled water and were offered more during our stay. The owner kept in touch with us throughout and kindly arranged for more chemicals for the hot tub when we needed them. She is aware of the problems with the tumble dryer and hob extractor which hopefully can be fixed soon. Cleaning issues which have been reported on other reviews seem to have been resolved as the house was very well-presented when we arrived. All in all, a great holiday and we look forward to a return visit.

The extractor fan in the kitchen didn't work, there was no chopping board, the TV in the living room needs replacing, living room door handle needs replacing as it traps you in the room, blown double grazing in the master bedroom, BBQ was unusable and no toilet roll anywhere in the house on arrival. The ad stated the water isn't drinkable, but only two bottles were provided for a four day stay, for seven people. Although the views are beautiful, I would also advise the ad to state it is on a busy A road and it can be quite loud if you're not used to it.
