Guests say

The Old Granary is a stunning and well-equipped holiday cottage with a beautiful garden and hot tub, appreciated by both adults and children. Guests have praised the property's maintenance and the owner's helpful communication. While there was an unfortunate incident with an infestation, the overall experience remains highly regarded, with the property's charm and amenities often highlighted.

There is insufficient information to assess cleanliness as the reviews do not directly comment on this aspect.

The reviews do not provide specific details about the location, so it is not possible to give an accurate score.

The property is generally considered comfortable, though one review mentioned a small double bedroom on the top floor, suggesting a slight deduction for comfort in that area.

Facilities are highly praised, especially the garden and hot tub. However, a problem with the hot tub heating and an infestation issue indicate some room for improvement in maintenance.

There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate the level of thoughtfulness, so this score cannot be determined.

    Would definitely recommend :)

Gorgeous house and garden with all the facilities you could possibly need. Owner was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful and was in regular contact to ensure everything was ok. Beautiful courtyard area with hot tub which was put to good use by the whole family. Only criticism would be that one of the double bedrooms on top floor was extremely small. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Old Granary

100's and 100's of them on all upper floors where two bedrooms are, full evidence was supplied and the property owners son visited the home to confirm how bad it was. I have contacted both Sykes and the property owner for a partial refund and was informed that no compensation would be paid, despite me paying £4k for a 3 night stay. Later this week I will be placing a chargeback via my bank for the full £4k and I would recommend anyone else in the same situation does this too, all I have asked for is a £500 partial refund which I felt was very reasonable under the circumstances. Once the charge back is made and I have received the full £4k refund Sykes or the property owner (Not sure who loses out) can take me to court if they wish to fight this further, silly that they have forced me to do this as this could have been resolved with a £500 partial refund.
