Brilliantly furnished, characterful barn conversion located in the picturesque village of Bempton.. All on the

Puffin Lodge is set over one level, walk in to an open plan living space which offers a well-equipped kitchen area and plentiful living space. This area also comes complete with a fantastic wood burner and a beamed ceiling that really helps to make this a memorable place to stay. Into the master bedroom you will find a great super kingsize ottoman bed and en-suite shower room.
Bempton is an ideal holiday location for exploring the East Yorkshire Coast with miles of award-winning beaches. The rspb sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, is just 1½ miles away, where you can take in super views across to Flamborough Head whilst spotting the many rare bird species safely nesting.
Scattered across the East Yorkshire Coast are many quaint villages with shops and inns in abundance. Filey is only 5 miles away, boasting a 5 mile stretch of award-winning sands and a long promenade with many restaurants, and Flamborough is 3 miles. The historic city of York is only an hour away, with its beautiful Minster and shops in the famous Shambles. Take a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors steam railway from Pickering to Whitby. Within Bempton, there are lots of amenities within a short stroll with the village shop and pub close by. Shop 80 yards, pub 170 yards, restaurant 2¾ miles.

Lovely place, in a moderately quiet village (but in February everywhere's quiet), with a little shop for odd bits or a bigger coop in Flamborough if you need a bit more.The train station is a gentle 10ish minutes walk away so there's no need to use the car if you want to go to Scarborough, Brid, Sheffield or even Hull. Accommodation is on the small side but works, main room is living room/kitchen/diner which although there's not lots of room for the table, it can fit us two chunky's reasonably well.The bedroom is a bed with a walkway round it and a little toilet/sink/shower off it - this would be my only niggle, the bathroom lightswitch is on the bedroom wall so you need to put the light on before entering a room with an unfamiliar layout (we have a battery powered candle for this purpose) - when you put the light on whoever is on that side of the bed is woken up.The extra bits left out for us was a very nice touch and very welcome, we would highly recommend a visit to unwind.
