This lovely spacious bungalow is ideal for families and couples alike to enjoy and is just under 7 miles from the coast. The spacious lawned garden offers plenty of room for children to run around and enjoy, with a hot tub for everyone. Open views can be enjoyed across the fields and the master bedroom has an en-suite as well as patio doors opening onto the terrace and to the hot tub. In the evenings you can enjoy the cosy wood burner or stroll to the village pub a mile away.
Hornsea just 15 minutes drive offers a good selection of restaurants, pubs and of course a long promenade, beach and traditional seaside amusements. Hornsea Mere offers great bird watching as well as good walks. The city of Hull is 10 miles and the subsea aquarium The Deep is a popular attraction for adults and children alike. Within half an hour are Beverley, Market Weighton, Hull, the Humber Bridge and the traditional seaside resort of Bridlington. York is just an hour’s drive. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy the routes straight from the door and there is a boot room to change in and a boiler room for warming coats and drying boots if required after a day spent exploring. Pub 1 mile, shops 2 miles.

Definitely one for the "must come back again" list.Wonderful cottage with modern utilities that is tastefully decorated and furnished to reflect the age of the property. Has pretty much all you need in the kitchen too.Great location for exploring the area and local shop is more like a supermarket in what it sells.

Wow, just Wow. Everything about this place is stunning. Loved the Christmas decorations and welcome pack on arrival (especially the homemade Mince Tarts). Super clean, super relaxing and super comfy. If you go in Winter, brave the Hot Tub on a clear night and you'll be taken back by the view of the stars. Driving distance to local shop/petrol station. We also went to Hornsea, Beverly, York, Hull and Bridlington I'm achievable driving times.Finally the host Caroline was absolutely amazing, the communication was unbelievably good and well detailed directions. All in all, the best host we have ever had (and we use Cottages.com at least twice a year)!!! Hope to come back soon. Steven, Ruth, Vikki and Little T

Beautiful cottage. We had a lovely time over Christmas. Thank you for the prosecco and homemade mince pies. They were delicious. We loved the Christmas decorations. Hot tub was fab. A true home from home- we’ll definitely be back.
