The Cottage in Hull is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped kitchen. Its location is ideal for exploring seaside towns and local amenities. Guests appreciate the cosy, homely environment and the thoughtful touches provided by the owner, Sam. While there are some concerns about privacy and construction noise, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.
Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean and tidy' and 'spotlessly clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout.
The location is frequently highlighted as great, with easy access to local pubs, shops, and seaside towns. However, one mention of nearby construction noise slightly impacts the score.
Reviews often refer to the property as 'cosy', 'comfortable', and 'warm welcoming', suggesting a high level of comfort for guests.
The well-equipped kitchen and overall facilities are praised, but there are some concerns about maintenance, such as a dirty dog run and a rug issue, leading to a slightly lower score.
The owner's thoughtfulness is noted, especially with a Christmas Eve present, but as gifts are not guaranteed, this is a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

The dog run was very dirty and we had to clean this and buy a lock too! No garden and very small patio. Very dirty rug which when shook outside fell apart and was charged for this and dog hair.
Lorraine
Very comfortable and well equipped. The only let down was not being made aware of the construction of houses 50 yards from the property. This was very noisy at 7.30am every morning. When on holiday it wasnât very nice to be disturbed at this time.
