High above the traditional Yorkshire market town of Bentham and overlooking The Great Stone, this wonderful hamlet is well-situated to see all of Lancashire and Yorkshire. From here it's possible to see the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and The Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors can use this wonderful little hamlet as a base for walking holidays across the famous three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent whilst the less active may enjoy the range of amenities at nearby Bentham. Our fourth visit and the next is already booked. Everything you need is provided and Fiona is very welcoming but never intrusive. The cottage is spotless and everything is so well cared for. The beds are extremely comfortable and there is plenty of space for everyone. The ideal place for a peaceful, relaxing break.
Dorena
Very clean. There were seven of us and two dogs and so much space. Would definitely book again.

Delightfully comfortable accommodation and plenty of space. A large garden with stunning views, sheep, cows and even wallabies in the adjoining fields. Plenty of attractions within reach and walks for every ability nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, 11/10 :-)
