Overall a great cottage, beautifully cared for. Everything we needed. A warning about the stairs to the bathroom would have been useful - might be a struggle for people with mobility and extra health needs.

We stopped iin number 7 for 4 nights with my daughter, partner and their spaniel. We had a lovely time. The cottage has been fitted out to a high standard with everything u need for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen has everything u need to cook etc if u wanted to, failing that The coach house pub is lovely with friendly staff and lovely food. The beds were comfy the shower was great. The front garden is private and lovey on a sunny morning/evening to enjoy with a glass of wine or morn cuppa. The property is bigger than it looks on pics and has lots of character. The parking to the rear of property is a little tight but is very do able. All in all we all had a lovely time and would defo stay again and highly recommend. Thank u

We loved staying at Number 7.It is a beautifully renovated property which has been tastefully and thoughtfully done with high quality fixtures and fittings.Probably one of the best properties that we have stayed in.It is very well equipped. Unusually we didn’t have to buy any additional items which we often have to.Contrary to previous reviews, we had no problem parking round the back in the clearly allotted space (we have a mid-sized suv). The front garden is absolutely lovely and a great place to sit out in in the evening sun.Bentham has everything you need from two supermarkets to various shops, cafes and pubs. We ate in the Coach House, which serves tasty ‘pub grub’. It’s a really friendly place too.The cottage is well situated for travelling around the dales, with easy access to the main A65. There are some nice walks straight from the property (just watch out for the outdated leaflet info (closed/re-routed public footpaths).
