Guests say

The Coach House in Settle is highly praised for its cleanliness, charming location, and comfortable amenities. Guests enjoyed the beautiful views, cosy atmosphere, and the proximity to local attractions and walks. The property's cleanliness and the thoughtful touches by the host, such as welcome gifts, were frequently mentioned. Some guests noted the tight vehicle access and suggested that higher seating and a dishwasher would improve the experience.

Guests consistently noted the property was spotlessly clean, with several reviews highlighting the cleanliness as a standout feature. The attention to detail in maintaining a clean environment contributed to the high score.

The location is celebrated for its beautiful views and proximity to local walks and towns. The property's setting in the Yorkshire Dales - South, near Settle, is appreciated for its charm and convenience, despite some concerns about tight vehicle access.

The property is described as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with a special mention of comfortable beds. However, some guests felt that the seating could be higher and the living space a bit cramped for larger groups, which slightly affected the score.

The cottage is well-equipped and praised for its facilities, including a good kitchen and a modern bathroom. However, a few guests mentioned the lack of a dishwasher and the challenge of parking for larger vehicles, which suggests room for improvement.

Many reviews expressed gratitude for the thoughtful welcome gifts provided by the host, such as wine, biscuits, and flowers. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is important to note that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Cottage had everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Heating came on one day early in the morning and another day late in the afternoon. There was no consistency. Also the parking was difficult. We have a large car and it only just fitted in the allotted parking space. The walls were very difficult to miss and it was made even worse as you had to reverse out. That aside, the cottage was in a lovely spot with fabulous views. Would certainly recommend .

The owner left a good welcome pack. The only downsides were we found the double bed a bit uncomfortable and we weren't happy with the heating as the owners had control of the settings and we experienced some poor levels of heat
