There are country walks from the doorstep or travel the Settle-Carlisle Railway line for one of the most scenic train journeys in England crossing the famous Ribblehead Viaduct. Giggleswick is a pretty village with 2 pubs serving meals whilst Settle has everyday shopping, a supermarket, pubs, tearooms and restaurants. The popular Waterfall Walk at Ingleton, Giggleswick Scar and White Scar Caves are close by. The location is ideal to enjoy the best of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Lake District, along with the natural beauty of the Forest of Bowland. The market towns of Skipton and Kirkby Lonsdale each with their own charm are within easy driving distance.
