Its proximity to the town centre, supermarkets, and local attractions, along with its pet-friendly policy, makes it an ideal choice for family gatherings. Guests appreciate the warm, homely feel and the convenience of having multiple bathrooms.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and well-maintained, with several reviews specifically highlighting its cleanliness. The property appears to be kept to a high standard of hygiene.

The location is frequently commended for being close to the town centre, shops, and local pubs, with easy access to walking routes. The convenience of nearby supermarkets is also appreciated. However, parking challenges slightly affect the score.

Numerous reviews mention the property's comfort, including the cosy lounge, comfortable beds, and warm kitchen. Some concerns about road noise and seating for large groups are noted but do not significantly detract from the overall comfort.

The property is well-equipped for large groups, with a special mention of the kitchen facilities. Some minor issues with Wi-Fi, sharpness of kitchen knives, and maintenance aspects like dampness in the basement are noted, leading to a slightly lower score.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness category based on the available information.

The house was absolutely perfect for a large family with everything you could want and loads of space for everyone. The bedrooms are a good size and the fact that there are plenty of bathrooms worked perfectly for us. The large dining room was great for a family meal the night before the wedding and then perfect for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in the morning. The brides pre-wedding photos were beautiful due to the original character of the house. There is plenty of parking nearby and I can’t recommend this property enough if you are looking for somewhere for a large group, walking distance into Skipton and a short drive to the lovely countryside.

Only downside is no guarantee of finding a parking place outside or close to the property. Apart from that we would go again.
