We've just come back from an amazing stay here, first time ever staying in a cottage and in the Yorkshire dales! It didn't disappoint. The cottage is lovely and cosy, tucked in a small village. Local amenities are about 20mins drive for fuel and fresh bread and milk. Both pubs in the village are lovely, great food and drink. We ventured out to waterfalls and caverns then back to the warmth of the cottage for dinner. Would definitely book to stay again maybe try a different time of the year next time.

We loved our stay, from the scenery to the village to the cottage. The cottage contained all we needed, apart from a private car park. The kitchen was well stocked. Having a car park voucher for the public car park was helpful.Perhaps you may consider changing the mattress in the largest bedroom. It was really hard and really low.

Our second stay in Inglenook Cottage, and thought it was first rate. Surprisingly large inside and very comfortable.Village pubs are excellent and it was nice to leave the car behind and use the local bus service to explore the dale.
