We loved our stay at the well house. It had everything you could possibly need, and the welcome pack was exceptional. The views are amazing, and we enjoyed watching the local farmer taking his sheep and cows from one field to another each day. We will be back.

Loved the cottage. The 'upside down' layout really worked for us. Fantastic views and as we were there in a heatwave the bedrooms on the ground floor were pleasantly cool. The garden is excellent and provided your dog is big enough not to get through a 5 bar gate is secure. Not sure the property is big enough for 6 adults as the 3rd bedroom in very small and has bunk beds. Should be OK for 4 +2 small children. As with many pubs now-a days the Fox and Hounds in the village and the Buck at Buckden have restricted opening days. But those in Kettlewell better.
