Crakehall, consisting of Little Crakehall and Great Crakehall sits east of the Yorkshire Dales and offers a pub. Bedale is a market town nearby with a local museum, weekly market, craft and antique shops, cafés, and pubs. There are many walks for all abilities in the area. Thirsk and Richmond are accessible and well worth visiting.

Had a great weekend celebrating my 80th birthday with my family found the property very comfortable lovely decorated and everything you would need was there and the hot tub was excellent Dave & Irene

Well furnished, comfortable beds and everything you need. It is in a convenient spot for many of North Yorkshireâs attractions - donât miss Fountains Abbey and the Forbidden Corner! It is however on a very busy main road, so I think in the Summer, when you want windows open, it would be rather noisy. There is no safe outside space for children or dogs, the shared grassy area is directly in front of the other cottages.
