My friends and I had a lovely stay at the Old Reading Room. It's a beautiful home full of character and very comfortable. The added bonus of a wood burning stove made it very cosy and welcoming. The location was lovely and peaceful but with easy acces to the A1. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful stay at The Garden Room. Very thoughtfully and carefully restored building with beautiful carpentry throughout. A perfect spot for a family stay. Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend - I'm sure we will stay again. Thank you

Had a lovely relaxing week in the Old Reading Room. It’s a beautiful property with a lovely spacious open plan living room, kitchen & dining area. The mezzanine area suited our 14 year old so he didn’t have to sit with us in the evenings. My other 2 teenagers were happy in front of the fire doing jigsaws with us. Only grumble would be the shower requires a bit of maintenance. We had 2 minor issues outwith the owners control, but he bent over backwards to get these resolved.
