Really enjoyed our stay. Very comfy and very clean accommodation. Excellent location for the village. Outside area could do with a bit of TLC. No view from the lodge but didn't spoil our experience.

This is our 2nd stay at Marfield Lodge and the lodge is just as nice as the first time but where the lodge is situated is changing. I know it is at the rear of a haulage yard with caravan hook ups in the next field but this year as soon as you stepped out of the lodge there was a huge pile of aggregates and 3 caravans stored, plus a motorhome along side the fence and then the day before we came home another caravan was brought and stored to the side of the lodge, we felt as it we were on a caravan storage site. After seeing how the site of the lodge is changing we would not return in the future.

Marfield Lodge is in a beautiful part of Yorkshire and is ideally located for beautiful walks and access to Ripon, Thirsk, Northallerton, Richmond, which are all beautiful places to visit, we loved the little pubs around Masham and the food was amazing and we also went to the pie and a pint night at the Black Sheep brewery which is less than a 5 min walk from Marfield Lodge, the lodge itself was stunning and spotlessly clean, it has everything you could possibly want for a comfortable stay and Rob popped by a couple of times to check we had everything we needed and had good knowledge of the area, we would definitely visit again 😊
