Let yourselves into the handsome house to find characterful accommodation with a wealth of original charm and an exquisite finish throughout. Leave your shoes and coats in the hall, which has a stone floor, and discover there is also a double bedroom, with an en-suite shower room at this level. Take the stairs up to the first floor to your living space, which includes a kitchen/diner and a lounge, both with beamed ceilings. Whip up hearty Yorkshire feasts in the kitchen/diner, which takes in views out towards the water. Light the wood burner in the lounge then settle down in here in front of the Smart TV or gaze out towards the rushing waterfall. The remaining two bedrooms, a king-size and a single, are on the top floor, together with the family bathroom. All the bedrooms have Smart TVs. Carry your morning coffee out into the courtyard in front of the property on warm days. There is parking at the property for one car.
Stroll out through Hawes to walk by the river, enjoy the independent shops and dine out. Visit the Dales Countryside Museum and the Wensleydale Creamery while you are here. Have a day out to the famous Aysgarth Falls, 10 miles away, and also see the smaller waterfall of Cotter Force, 2.5 miles from your base. Head 5 miles to the Buttertubs Pass with its panoramic views across the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
