This well-equipped 18th-century stone built holiday cottage is set in an elevated position in the pretty hamlet of Sedbusk. Located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park just 1-mile from the popular market town of Hawes. It has breathtaking views and the outstanding countryside is ideal for walking or for touring the whole of the Dales, and Windermere in the Lakes is less than an hour away. It retains original features with exposed stonework, pine floors, open fireplace but with modern comforts. Shops 1 mile, pub/restaurant ½ mile at Simonstone. Various pubs 1-mile away at Hawes and Hardraw.

We had a great week, enjoyed the location. Cottage was good however a few tweaks really necessary. The recliner sofa doesn’t work, opens but won’t return and it’s bent so not comfortable when out (I did try and contact owners but no response). Also the tv remotes are very difficult to use, sometimes impossible to get the tv on even though we changed the batteries.However we did enjoy our week away

We had a lovely stay at Dales View. The scenery was breathtaking with wonderful walks from the front door!! The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. We would certainly recommend Dales View as a place to stay and we would go back ourselves to stay there. The Yorkshire Dales never disappoints, and Dales View was a wonderful base for a really lovely holiday. Thank-you so much for having us in such a lovely cottage!!
