The cottage was well equipped but lacked overall comfort. There was a few problems, the double bed collapsing, radiator in the bathroom not working. The bed was seen to quickly but the radiator was not. Could not get onto the internet due to being chargeable, which was not mentions in the information. If this had been highlighted I would not have picked this cottage. Could not pay for the connection because of lack of phone coverage to obtain internet to get bank authorisation. Very unsatisfactory. Parking is also a problem area as it is very restricted.

Cottage was OK not a lot of local amenities there were plenty of walks and places within driving distance sadly our experience was ruined by the couple in the apartment below us who rowed on Christmas night slamming doors and the lady being shut out by her partner then proceeded to bang on the door loudly, shouting until we had to intervene. This was repeated boxing day night by which Time two of our party had already left due to one being ill

A great location for exploring the Dales, either by car or walks straight from the front door. The cottage is very comfortable with everything we needed for the week. The only issue we had was with a rather chilly bathroom as the towel rail didn't seem to work. Other than that, all the electric heaters worked fine. For pubs, The George in Thoralby has recently reopened and is very welcoming, but isn't serving food. The Street Head Inn is also in walkable distance (take a torch!) and does great food, but expect to book a table at weekends.
