Sleeping up to four guests in two delightful en-suite bedrooms, this cottage really does have a home from home feel as soon as you enter into the cosy sitting room with two large comfortable sofas, imposing fireplace with wood burning stove and original floor boards.
The welcoming, refurbished country kitchen will inspire you to cook up a feast to be enjoyed at the oak dining table or alternatively take it outside onto the pretty patio area where you can listen to the birds whilst dining al fresco.
Retiring upstairs in this peaceful cottage will not disappoint, both tastefully decorated bedrooms have the added benefit of their own en-suites, with bedroom one featuring a super-king size zip and link bed which can be configured as two 3' single beds on request.
Middehus is perfectly situated for family or friends who want to take full advantage of all that North Yorkshire and Wensleydale and its rich cultural heritage have to offer. Bordering the Yorkshire Dales National Park known for its dark skies and limestone scenery, everyday will be one to remember whist staying in this charming cottage.

Please be aware there are steep steps leading up to the front entrance of the property. You can access to property via the rear entrance for more ease.
Private parking available for one car under the windows at the front of the property. Additional free parking is available on the roadside in the village.

We booked this lovely cottage last minute on the day as the weather looked good for walking. There was a lovely welcome package waiting for us when we got there. We walked in various places during the day, and used the lovely log burner for cosy evenings. The house was well equipped for our stay, comfortable bed, and very very peaceful and quiet. A very enjoyable week.

A fantastic cottage, highly recommend. Middehus is a well proportioned cottage with two en suite bedrooms, both with comfortable king beds and good quality bedding. The lounge is very comfortable with a great log burner. The kitchen dinner is a good size and very well equipped. The property was immaculately clean when we arrived and equipped with everything we could wish for and more. The location is scenic and very peaceful. Great value for money.
