Sleeping up to four guests in two delightful en suite bedrooms, this cottage exudes a home from home feel from the moment you enter. The cosy sitting room offers two large comfy sofas, an imposing fireplace with wood burning stove, and original floor boards. The welcoming, refurbished country kitchen will inspire you to cook up a feast to be enjoyed at the oak dining table, or alternatively take your dish outside onto the delightful patio area to listen to the birds whilst dining al fresco. Retiring upstairs in this peaceful cottage invites ultimate relaxation. The master bedroom hosts a super-king size zip-and-link bed that can be configured as two 3'single beds on request, with a king-size bed in bedroom two.
Middehus is perfectly situated for family or friends who want to discover all that rich cultural heritage of North Yorkshire and Wensleydale have to offer. A comfortable place to stay in a quiet location not far from the market town of Leyburn which has a good butchers, a co-op, and plenty of hostelries, including the Wensleydale Brewery taproom. The external space is compact, but just enough for sitting out. Lots of parking in the village, including a private space next to the accommodation.

Good location and house very welcoming and well equipped. Very comfortable beds and a very generous welcome pack. Great walks from the door to Leyburn and the Shawl and to Wensley. There is also a very convenient walk behind the house to a woodland area.

We had a lovely week here. The house was fabulous comfortable, warm and welcoming . A little gem in a lovely village . Everything we needed was there. Beds were comfy and it was nice to have separate bathrooms. Within easy reach of some great days out. The welcome hamper was probably the best we have had even the dog was catered for with treats toy and bags. Would deffo love to return here
