Situated in the heart of Wensleydale, Pen Hill View is a wonderfully spacious property, well suited to families as well as couples looking for an ideal base from which to explore the whole of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This comfortable property is located on the edge of the village, with walks on the doorstep and a large enclosed garden with countryside views. Aysgarth offers a couple of tea rooms and pubs, and the Aysgarth Falls are only half a mile away. The market towns of Hawes and Leyburn are easily accessible for a larger selection of restaurants, gift and food shops.

The house location is good and although furnished very ‘70’s the house central heating kept us warm despite the weather at times being cold , rainy with snow !The kitchen equipment/crockery was ample for us although we felt attention to aspects of housekeeping in the room wouldn’t go amiss.Upgrading / modernising required and that apply to the bathroom too.However we had a comfortable 4 day stay and would recommend it but think great grandparents house!.Just a note for dog owners-the garden though large is not secure for your pets.

What a lovely quirky home on the edge of a quaint quiet village. Shop next door for all requirements. Falls within walking distance and they were spectacular! The accommodation is roomy, beds really comfortable. Slept like a log! Toiletries available. Lovely welcome pack too! Sharon and David have been lovely during our stay. Will defo return to see more walks and falls located in the area. Wildlife and sheep were a bonus to watch from our window too!
