Situated in the living room, a feature wood burner makes this property perfect for the colder, winter months. After a busy day exploring this delightful location, head back to the property, and snuggle into the comfortable sofas, where you can watch the flames dance around the fire.

Our stay at the old chapel was delightful. Very well situated for a cosy, quiet few days break away. The chapel had everything we needed and more! Fabulous kitchen, well furnished rooms, comfortable beds and fresh, clean bed linen and towels. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and surrounding villages, mostly in the rain, and looked forward to getting home and settling in with a warm drink in front of the toasty fire. The only down side was that we had to leave.

A wonderful family weekend spent at the Old Chapel. The property is beautifully furnished with gorgeous decor. Very spacious and extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen. Would highly recommend staying here.

Everything in the cottage was great and we had a lovely holiday except… the en suite shower did not at any time get hot enough for a comfortable shower. Our friends the Broomfields had that bedroom and had to put up with tepid showers which wasn’t ideal at all. Also we felt given the cost of renting the cottage it would’ve been nice if a few more toilet rolls could’ve been left to us. There isn’t a nearby shop. Most places we’ve been to do leave adequate toilet rollsOverall though the cottage was lovely. Nicely decorated and plenty of utensils crockery etc in the kitchen. we liked the games room too particularly the table football! The pictures and knick knacks were tasteful and made the property appealing.
