This charming holiday home has been furnished and equipped to provide excellent welcoming accommodation, ideal for families, couples or friends, with three bedrooms, one accessed via a separate staircase directly from the dining room. Lovers of the countryside will delight in this truly get away from it all location. Complete with original beamed ceilings, multi-fuel burner and underfloor heating on the ground floor, this property has an excellent blend of traditional features and modern day facilities to ensure a relaxing holiday at any time of the year. There is a summer house in the wild flower meadow garden, patios and a decked area each overlooking the wonderful scenery of this glorious corner of the Yorkshire Dales.

The nearby village of Reeth has pubs and restaurants serving good food, a convenience store, post office, bakery and a craft centre. Askrigg also nearby has village shops and pubs. Take time to visit Richmond to explore Richmond Castle, the Georgian Theatre or Easby Abbey, the bustling market towns of Leyburn and Hawes are also within easy reach over in neighboring Wensleydale. Birkend Farmhouse is an ideal property to begin an exploration of the area, take walks from the door or it is a perfect spot to sit back and simply relax and take in the views.

    Beautiful cottage set in a idilic Yorkshire dales setting with views out of this world. Dog walks from the door and a walk down the hill to Low Row pub for some lovely food and a well earned pint.Very clean with all the amenities, thanks Jo and Paul we had an amazing holiday 😎

    Beautiful Location, very remote. As long as you are happy to drive for food (unless you cook in the house) it is lovely.Some of the decor is a litte tired in places.
