Please note that this property has 3 floors and some garden steps which may not be suitable for less mobile guests. The initial supply of fuel for the wood-burning stove is included, thereafter available locally at cost.

We returned to Castle View after 20-odd years and it was just as good as previous visits.The house was very comfortable, with all amenities that you would need. The position overlooking Richmond and the castle (obviously!) is superb.The walk into Richmond and back will definitely get your leg muscles working but is worth it for the variety of cafés, restaurants and bars.The local countryside is also well worth exploring.All-in-all, we had a lovely holiday and will definitely return.

Castle View was the perfect place for our visit. From waking up to the spectacular view of Richmond Castle, to exploring historical sites, dining in quaint pubs, the location could not have been better! Our host, Alan, was so lovely and welcoming, and made us feel at home in his beautifully appointed cottage and lush garden. We highly recommend Castle View and look forward to returning soon.
