Scorton is a Nether Wyresdale settlement near the Forest of Bowland aonb. Although it was built around a cotton mill and railroad in the 19th century, walkers and cyclists now frequent its lovely paths and selection of restaurants. The village organises frequent Food & Gift Fairs where you can buy cheese, preserves, jewellery, and crafts. Nicky Nook is the village's most famous sight, and its proximity to the A6 makes it a great base for exploring Lancashire.
