The cottage had everything we needed and we'd be happy to book the cottage again.

Facilities all good, our only feedback would be the cleanliness wasn’t great, there was a used baby bib between the sofas and no brush/hoover to keep on top of the sand. The owner was helpful though when I asked about this and said not to worry about the sand etc. Another point worth mentioning, If you have a small dog they can get under the garden fence. We would probably stay again but without the dog as we couldn’t let her out without being on the lead.

Towels and bedding provided, the house was so clean and we really appreciated the extras like tea/coffee, washing up liquid and cleaning products. Did have to chase Sykes for the check in code, and there was no welcome info sheet in the home, which would have been a great touch. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful stay. Shower and separate bath were great and the enclosed garden for the dog was spot on. The cutlery draw is hidden above/inside the utensil draw. Plenty of things provided to cook with. Wifi was fantastic too. We enjoyed short drives to both Scarborough and Bridlington for days out, stopping at York on our drive back to MCR. Great house for kids & dogs, would 100% return.
