Primrose Valley is a delightful village set in the luscious surroundings of North Yorkshire. Sitting close to the charming town of Filey, there is so much for you to do during your stay; the village itself if home to a number of local convenience stores and vibrant pubs, as well as a sandy public beach with stunning seascapes and a charming cafe. Filey town is just 3.4 miles away and is home to exciting museums, lots of local eateries and a beautiful beach. Take the children to meet the adorable ponies and incredible alpaca at Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park or spend the day at Playdale Farm Park petting the farm animals or enjoying a brew whilst the children run free in the soft-play area. Travel back in time at the Scarborough Fair Collection and Vintage Transport Museum to see the steam-powered Victorian fairground and admire the display of classical cars and vintage motorbikes. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. For such a large property it was kept very warm with the heating and there were no draughts. As mentioned in another review, although everything else is very clean, the dining room table is sticky and the more you try to clean it the stickier it seems to get. Also we booked for 2 nights and the hot tub must have been switched on just before our 4pm arrival on the Friday night as it was not up to temperature until the following morning which meant we missed using it for 1 of our 2 nights which was disappointing.

The house had had everything we needed! Large kitchen, large lounge which meant we could all be together! Fab hot tub! Clean, tidy! We will back next year!
