This superb first and second floor maisonette, situated in a traditional Edwardian property, is close to the centre of the unspoilt seaside town of Filey, yet tucked away in a delightful, quiet back street which leads straight down to the sea front. There is parking for one car, and additional free roadside parking. Restaurants, shops and the beach are all just a short stroll away, which makes this lovely property the perfect place to stay for a traditional seaside holiday, both for the active and for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Filey has a 5 mile stretch of award-winning golden sands, ideal for families, and the donkey rides are always a big hit with the children. The beautiful long promenade and the award-winning gardens are the perfect place to walk, or just to sit and admire the outstanding views. To the north of the bay is the start (or end) of the 110 mile Cleveland Way and The Brigg, which is the perfect place for rock pooling and for those who enjoy fishing. To the south, are the magnificent Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs, a rspb nature reserve which is perfect for watching and photographing a wide range of sea life, including puffin. For the golfer, there is Filey Golf Club just over ½ mile away, said to be one of the finest courses in Yorkshire. For those who surf, Reighton Sands, Hunmanby Gap and Cayton Bay can provide good waves, whilst Scarborough Surf School caters for those want to give it a try. With a wide range of places to visit, including Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington, together with the Yorkshire Moors National Park, there is no shortage of activities for all the family. The historic city of York is only 42 miles away and makes for a great day out. Beach 200 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

We loved our holiday here. A perfect location on an incredibly quiet street but right next to the gardens/seafront and town. Very spacious, warm and comfortable property with everything we needed. We were an all adult party but we appreciated the stairgates for the dog. The only negative thing was the 4th bedroom doesn't have an ensuite and there's no family bathroom, so ok for kids but not adults unless you know each other well enough to share a shower (which we did). We loved the sun trap patio. You can only really fit 3 people in the kitchen but we did shifts so that wasn't a problem. A really fabulous holiday home at a very fair price.Thank you!

A lovely 4 bed apartment over 2 floors. On a quiet street but close to all the shops, restaurants and beach. Great communication with the owner both prior to and during stay. First time in Filey. Loved it. Special mention to breakfast an No 30. Dinner at La Gondola and drinks at The Star. The White Lodge made for a relaxed birthday treat. The Piebald pub nearby with 52 pies was worth a visit when hungry! A lovely apartment and a lovely week. Would definitely come back!

This is our 3rd stay at Upper floors over Christmas and it was better than ever. Well kitted out, lots of space and nicely furnished. Very central in Filey and with a parking space. Kitchen has everything you need if you are cooking and there are restaurants and shops close by.
