Whitby lies at the River Esk and is situated for exploring this part of Yorkshire. It is a town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a harbour, sandy beaches and the abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

Peaceful , private and surrounded by countryside. The barn is well appointed and well maintained. Our 2nd visit and couldnât stay anywhere else when we come to this area.

Gorgeous barn conversion. The road down to it is a little bumpy so wouldn't advise a low car.
