Grassed area to rear (shared with other properties on-site). ½ acre grounds with play area (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Eldin Hall Cottages are set in a peaceful area and have been added more recently to the restored old Victorian waterworks. The four cottages have their own enclosed decked patios with garden furniture, and The Gatehouse has its own enclosed private lawned garden. There is also a shared garden with a fantastic play area for the children. The owners, who just 10 minutes away, will be there to greet guests whenever possible, and are available any time to provide information and assistance when it is required.
Situated between Cayton and Cayton Bay, the cottages are an ideal base to visit the east coast, North York Moors and the Yorkshire Wolds. The beach at Cayton Bay is less than a mile away (2 miles by road) and just a little further up the coast is the popular seaside town of Scarborough. The resorts of Filey, Flamborough Head and Bridlington are just a short drive away. The walks along the clifftops are spectacular and form part of the Cleveland Way walk. The rspb bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs attracts visitors from worldwide and is just a short drive from the cottages. Here you can see puffins, kittiwakes and lots of other migrating seabirds. Not to be missed during your stay (as it’s always voted as one of the top ten cities to visit) is the wonderful city of York which is less than an hour away by car, or the train is direct from Scarborough. Beach 1 mile (2 miles by road). Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
The Gatehouse (ref UK2482), Cottage One (ref UK2483), Cottage Two (ref UK2484), Cottage Three (ref W4347) and Cottage Four (ref W4348) can be booked together to accommodate up to 21 guests.

Our second visit to cottage 2 Eldin Hall. Just as clean and welcoming as last time. Plenty to do in the area, Cayton beach is a must for the sand. Handy for both Scarborough and Filey.

We stayed from 26nd Dec to 3rd of January. The cottage was ok. It was clean. Had everything really You needed apart from an air fryer lol. Location was good. Local shops only 2 miles away for break and milk ect. Local Morrisons 5 min drive away also. Was kind of dog friendly but wasn’t if you get me. Not a lot of space to let the dog/s run around. Also when we arrived in the welcome pack, dogs not aloud in bedrooms or on sofa, cannot leave dogs alone in the cortage ect. If we did book again I would t take my dogs. Was it worth all the money I paid I’m afraid not really but it was clean and in a good location as said before but for us it wasn’t quite dog friendly which was abit disappointing

This is our first visit to eldin cottages and would highly recommend it. We found it clean and comfortable and very quiet. Everything required is supplied for you. We will definitely be returning.
