We stayed here for a week in August. Myself, my partner, and our 2 children. The location was good, as in you are so close to the sea front. When we arrived, the floors downstairs and the sofa were covered in dog hair. It needed a good hoover but all that was provided was a handheld dustpan and brush. The house did have everything we needed for our stay, the cubbie in the yard stocked with beach toys was a big hit. However the house itself does not feel cosy or homely. We all struggled to sleep due to the noise from outside. It’s right behind a bar, and late into the night we could hear bottles been emptied into the bin regularly, which is right outside the front window. There are wooden floors throughout, so any movement upstairs could be heard on lower levels. The beds were uncomfortable and the living room just doesn’t feel cosy at all, nor does it comfortably accommodate a family. We stay in cottages in Scarborough every year, never have I felt so unhappy with the house itself. We won’t be staying in this property again.

The cottage was ok for location but was noisy with pub and restaurant right infront of it if you have a disability the stairs are a nightmare with only rope bannister and are extremely steep the outside area is extremely small and not really useful my grandson took his shoes of to walk about in house and when he put his feet up his bottom of feet were filthy so we cleaned the laminate floor and he dropped his phone under sofa so we had to lift it to get didnt look like it had been cleaned for weeks with a mouldy strawberry and dust underneath
