Step into the social hub of the lodge, the open-plan living space, where you can look forward to relaxing with your guests in the spacious lounge area and watching a good film upon the Smart TV, continuing the conversation as you cook up a storm in the fully-functioning kitchen with gas oven and hob, before settling down to enjoy the fruits of your labour around the dining table. Wash away the day within the shower room before retiring to either of four bedrooms to catch some rest, including a double and three twins, each wonderfully presented. Wake up and enjoy breakfast and your private decking, or return here in the evening for a well-earned drink as you take in the last of the summer sun. Cayton is a little village and civil parish of the popular seaside borough of Scarborough. Perfect year-round, the village is near to many local amenities and attractions, with Scarborough town centre just a few miles away. The village is known for its links to World War II, with coastal eroded pillboxes being evident around the area and plenty of historic landmarks to discover. You will find a good selection of shops and pubs within the village, with more amenities available in nearby Scarborough.

Great location a lot of what we need was close by. The only problem I would say would be the bottom of each set of steps needs some paving/slabs as itâs grass and with the rain it got really muddy and slippery. And maybe the toilet door to be looked at as it was difficult to open.

I have never felt so unclean as the mud got worse as the week went on. If Iâd of wanted to be in a muddy field I would have camped in a tent. Couldnât use the nearest door to avoid most of the bog as there wasnât a mat to wipe your feet. There was no charger for the vac so couldnât clean up properly. The doors to both bathrooms donât work and if you shut them you get locked in, so no privacy at all! All in all not a brilliant experience and will not be going back.

Shower wouldn't turn off properly and the drain was blocked, however we didn't know until the bathroom flooded. Reported to maintenance and they came within the hour and unblocked it. Otherwise nice clean caravan, plenty of space for a family. Couldn't hoover before we left as the battery was dead and no charger. Would definitely use again
