Lovely house and lovely location. It Is right next to a farm but noise from farm is more like a lorry park than farm. There is continuous beeping from reversing trucks. The pool is fab although not sure it’s maintained correctly as has green ring around water level which is very off putting . Garden and pool furniture lacking. Only one sun lounger and no sun brolly. Clean inside but bathrooms very tired and old and showers over the two baths are rubbish. Just a trickle of water. Lots of flies, which I’d expect in countryside but maybe some screen doors and fly trap measures could be added. Rooms in roof have blackout blinds on velux windows but not on wall windows so very light and boiling hot. Some fans were provided which was fab. No toiletries provided other than hand soap, which is fine but should be stated as other comparative holiday houses provide shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. No hairdryers at all which would also be provided usually. Quality of bedding could also be improved, for example cotton not poly cotton and higher grade pillows and duvet. All other properties I have stayed in on a par with this would also have a coffee machine in the kitchen. There was however a cafetière and some ground coffee. Improving these things would make it an excellent place. Think the ‘welcome hamper’ has slowly declined in quality. We were left a bottle of prosecco and some milk in the fridge and a packet of biscioff biscuits, which was great but again compared to similar properties we have stayed at, not on the same level. A useful suggestion would be some butter and a loaf of bread, and a high quality suggestion would also be to include so local produce, like local made biscuits or jam or even a packet of crisps made with the farms potatoes!

What a beautiful farmhouse. This was my best friends hen party and we had the most amazing time. The farmhouse has everything you would need. The beds are comfy, its clean and its spacious. The pool and hot tub made it even more special. No one had a bad word to say about this amazing place. I contacted Pam before who was very helpful with information i requested and taxi recommendations. Highly recommend.
