Guests say

Greenlands Farmhouse in York is a charming and spacious property, ideal for large family gatherings. Guests have praised the comfortable beds, large dining area, and the well-maintained pool and hot tub. The surrounding gardens and wildlife add to the serene experience, with easy access to local amenities and York city. While there is a mention of garden furniture needing attention, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

The property was described as spotless on arrival by multiple reviewers, indicating a high level of cleanliness. However, one mention of flies in the kitchen area slightly impacts the score.

While the reviews mention proximity to York and local amenities, there is insufficient detail to accurately score the location.

Guests have consistently noted the comfortable beds and spaciousness of the property, contributing to a high comfort level.

The pool, hot tub, and large dining facilities are well-received, but the mention of garden furniture needing repair suggests some maintenance issues.

The welcome gifts were appreciated by guests, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, this is a kind gesture rather than a standard offering.

Absolutely amazing house to stay in. The pool was fabulous and the kids loved it.Beds really comfy, and the house is charming and huge, ideal for a large family gathering. We had 7 adults and 7 children and we all had enough space to enjoy the holiday.Super large dining table for all those family meals.Washer and dryer to keep on top of the washing. Loads of spare towels for the pool and the hot tub was lovely, especially at night with the solar lighting.Well worth every penny - plenty of activities nearby for the kids. York is only 25 minutes away. Pocklington is 10 minutes away, with a weekly market on Tuesdays.

This was our 2nd time staying at Greenlands Farmhouse, and we had another amazing holiday! The weather was fabulous all week, so the pool and hot tub were very well utilised. We only had one minor issue regarding the hot tub during our holiday but this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently by Dean next door on the farm. The cottage was spotless on arrival and the welcome gifts much appreciated. Thank you again to Pam the owner for our stay and we will be hopefully back in the near future.

The garden furniture needs attention. I sat on it and fell through, hurting my arm. The three different breeds of fly, tormented us all week and all over kitchen area. We opened a cupboard for clean dishes and flies flew out. On a positive note, the pool and jacuzzi is the selling point here, otherwise we wouldn't have gone again.
