A stunning two bedroom traditional lodge with open plan lounge and dining area with doors leading to the decking, a double bedroom with French doors to the decking, a twin room, shower room with a sauna and there is a well-equipped kitchen. Outside is a private decked area with a sunken hot tub and seating area. Adjacent parking and electric charging point. The perfect location for a family holiday with your four legged friend.

All the lodges are built to a traditional timber style and nestled around the edge of a small lake. They are well equipped and offer guests a high level of comfort throughout. There is a local pub just a short walk away which serves home cooked food. Each lodge has a private decked area with furniture and a private bubbling hot tub.
The park located just a couple of miles from the centre of york and is easy accessed by either public transport or by well connected cycle route. York offers guests an array of things to do including a vast collection of museums and experiences including the Jorvick centre and the national railway museum. The streets are lined with cafes and restaurants offering superb food and a great atmosphere or perhaps wander down the Shambles or explore York Minister, what ever your looking for York has something for everyone.
For guests wishing to explore the East coast with its beautiful seaside towns and small fishing villages all of these are just a short drives away. Perfect break away. Lodge was ideal and immaculate. Outside covered decking was a godsend as we hit 32 degrees. Lowered hottub made it easy access. Beds and living area all comfortable. Honestly great place to relax and easy to get an Uber in and out of York.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Holly Tree lodges, the lodge itself was stunning set around a lake. There was only 8 lodges altogether, instructions on how to get into the lodges came a few days before and it was all straight forward. Once in the lodge there was instructions how to use the sauna and hot tub which we found to be of a high standard. I love that the hot tub was covered as it meant if it rained then we would still be able to go into it. The view was stunning, the lodge was clean and there was plenty of things in the kitchen to help with your stay. We went to the takeaways I the next village along which is a 1 minute drive away. We went into York both days - we used the park and ride which was a 3 minute drive away. Very easy to use and very reliable. £4 return per adult and up to 3 children per adult free so this was cheaper and less stressful than parking in the city centre. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be looking to book again.

Great place, really near York, just a bus ride away. Everything is there that you would need, they even put you some milk in the fridge so you can make a tea or coffee on arrival, along with the complimentary tea, coffee and sugar. The hot tub is great, enclosed so it doesn’t lose heat and it’s right next to a set of patio doors so you can go straight from the hot tub into the bedroom to get changed. We spoke to the people that own it on the last day, they were very friendly. We will definitely be going back.
