Guests say
Paradise Lilyview offers a peaceful and relaxing retreat, ideal for those seeking tranquillity and beautiful lakeside views. Guests appreciate the well-equipped lodges, especially the hot tub and dishwasher, and the serene setting perfect for unwinding. While the interiors are generally clean and comfortable, some areas could benefit from minor updates and more attention to outdoor cleaning. The location is secluded, with easy access to local pubs and attractions by car. Repeat visitors highlight the consistent comfort and cleanliness, making it a popular choice for a restful getaway.
Most guests found the lodges clean, particularly inside, though some noted issues such as dirty windows and an unclean verandah. Overall, cleanliness is good but could be improved with more attention to detail, especially outdoors.
The property is praised for its peaceful, secluded lakeside setting, ideal for relaxation. While there is little to do onsite apart from fishing, guests appreciate the short drive to local pubs and amenities.
Guests consistently mention the comfort of the lodges, with highlights including peaceful surroundings and relaxing views. Some minor comments about dated décor do not detract from the overall comfort.
Facilities such as the dishwasher and hot tub are appreciated, and the lodges are well-equipped. However, some maintenance issues like a fallen kitchen blind and tired outdoor areas were noted.
There is no mention of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

This was our 3rd time staying at Lilyview lakeside lodges at paradise. As always the lodge was beautifully clean, peaceful and comfortable. The location is perfect for those who want an escape from all the hustle and bustle of life. The area is secluded and quiet and wonderful to watch the ducks on the lake from the comfort of the hot tub. We have already booked again for next year. 100% recommend.

Great location good facilities within the lodge. The outside was very tired looking and the verandah had not been cleaned prior to our stay. We would stay again

Lovely peaceful break. The lodges look onto a small fishing lake. The site is quiet and peaceful. Our accommodation was much better than a caravan but was a little dated in the bathroom and bedrooms, also needed a little tlc: windows were dirty, kitchen roller blind fell from bracket, paintwork needed a little freshening up in places. We did however really enjoy our stay and would recommend anyone looking for a peaceful break to come to this site.
