If you are looking for some rural peace and quiet whilst being a short journey from many options this place is for you. The village of Huby is walkable, the town of Easingwold a 5 minute drive, the city of York park and ride is 20 minutes. This does not include the beautiful countryside. The house itself is well kept with a good layout for two families to stay. Large kitchen and lounge and enclosed garden, modern facilities. Really a great place to stay, do not miss the Italian in Sutton on the Forest great family food.

There were 3 generations on this break. The large lounge area suited our requirements very well. The location was lovely and peaceful and we enjoyed watching the wildlife around us, including the deer in the field opposite. The close proximity to York enabled us to visit attractions there using the park and ride service from the outskirts. A small problem that arose during our visit was swiftly dealt with by the owner. We would be happy to revisit in the future.
