An array of National Trust properties can be found close by as well as opportunities for fun filled days out at York Maze or The Viking Centre. Also worth a visit is Dalby Forest with miles of cycle/walking trails and adventures at Go Ape. A visit to Castle Howard is a must, a great day out for all the family. York and Selby are both accessible by cycle along the cycle track. Recently renovated, the cottage has been beautifully finished yet retains all its original character.
