Scobach Lodge is highly praised for its tranquil and secluded woodland setting, offering a peaceful retreat with modern amenities. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities, making it an ideal base for exploring Aberdeenshire or enjoying a quiet getaway. The property's charm and the considerate nature of other occupants add to the positive experience, though some minor maintenance issues are noted.
Guests consistently mention the cleanliness of the property, describing it as 'spotless' and 'immaculately clean', indicating a high standard of hygiene and upkeep.
The location is celebrated for its peacefulness and scenic woodland surroundings, perfect for a tranquil retreat. However, the need for a short drive to access shops and attractions slightly affects the score.
Reviews highlight the comfortable bedrooms and living spaces, with special mentions of the cozy open fire and tranquil environment. Some guests found the sofas challenging to rise from, which slightly impacts the score.
The lodge is well-equipped with modern amenities like Wi-Fi and private parking. Some minor issues with door handles, toilet flush levers, and a glitchy TV are noted, but overall facilities are appreciated.
While guests express overall satisfaction with their stay, there are no specific mentions of thoughtful gestures such as gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category.

Location for us was perfect. Away from any amenities, peaceful. Property was spotless and very comfortable. Ideal spot for touring Aberdeenshire. Lots to see locally but good base for travelling. Couldn’t fault anything.
