Enjoyed our stay at the cottage it catered for all our needs. Could do with a deep clean, but has everything you need for a great holiday. Gardens are fabulous and our wee dog was made welcome too. Beautiful area and well kept grounds. Will be back.

Lovely quaint cottage full of history in beautiful surroundings and gardens. Plenty to do in the area. The 4 stars are not 5 is because the cottage needs a freshen up, the walls need repainted especially in the kitchen(grease splattered all round cooker area) and hall and stairs, appreciate when so booked up this is hard to do. The general level of cleanliness needs improving, alot of dust under radiators and behind chairs, needs a thorough hoover and the doors need a wipe where peoples fingers linger. The seals and grout in bathroom need a good scrub and de mould. The duvet had a huge stain where it looked like a cup of tea was spilt, ( you have to strip beds used before leaving - Ive no issue with this) if these things were addressed it would have 5 stars as its not a cheap cottage. However I would still return in the future.
