Absolutely stunning house in the most beautiful location. We felt very privileged to be staying here, with the cows at the bottom of the garden and the shimmer of the northern lights activity teasing us, but not quite appearing. The views are lovely, the Craignish Loch just down the track is so peaceful and great for swimming. Our spaniel swam at least twice a day in one sea loch or other! Make sure you take a trip to the end of the road to the head and watch the sun set over the islands. The house is very appointed, especially the kitchen. As keen cooks, we were delighted to see that everything you need is in place and of a high standard - it's been very thoughtfully set up. When we went (November 25) there was nothing much open, so be prepared and get everything you need before you arrive. We enjoyed a restful, relaxed stay, watching the wildlife outside the big windows, birds, cows, sheep and various other animals can be seen (and heard) at all times of the day and night.

Despite arriving in the middle of storm Amy and being without electric or a mobile phone connection for 3 days we had a very enjoyable holiday. The property was very comfortable and the log burner was wonderful with many hours watching the flames flickering. The local shop and chandlery were both wonderful and very helpful being help to meet all our requirements for extra supplies needed in the weather. Locals were also very helpful and offered to provide anything extra we might have needed. The location was peaceful with the opportunity of walks from the doorstep. The location is well placed to explore Argyle and Bute. We hope to return in better weather.

Stunning off road location. Modern, light and bright interior; scandi like presentation. Clean and well equipped. We were a family group and the property met all our requirements. The accommodation contributed to making our short break memorable for all the right reasons.
